We believe clean water should be a right, not a privilege. For every bottle of Arden’s Garden water purchased, GIVN provides one day of clean water to someone in need, turning an everyday purchase into an opportunity to support healthier communities.
Vision 2030: Supporting Sustainable Clean Water Access
Right now, much of this work is focused on Vision 2030, a long-term clean water initiative in South Sudan through GIVN Water’s nonprofit partner, Water is Basic. The goal is simple but powerful: equip local communities with the tools, training, and support needed to maintain their own water systems long-term, with women leading the way.
In many rural communities across South Sudan, access to clean water depends on wells that can be difficult to repair without local training, tools, or replacement parts. For many women and girls, that can mean walking miles every day just to collect water, often taking time away from school, work, and everyday life. Vision 2030 works to change that by training women within local communities to repair and maintain wells themselves, helping create more sustainable access to clean water for future generations.

The heart of Vision 2030 is best understood through people like Maria Amou Yel, one of 13 women who graduated from the well-repair program in 2023.
She walks for water. She studies at night. And when a well in her community stops working, she helps repair it. The income she earns through her repair work now helps cover school fees for both her children and herself. Maria is part of a growing movement of women across South Sudan helping lead long-term change within their communities by creating more reliable access to clean water.
