Arden’s Garden began with a woman intent on sharing her knowledge of health and wellness with anyone and everyone she met. Arden Zinn was well-known to Atlanta long before she opened her first juice bar. Dubbed “Atlanta’s first lady of fitness” she had a chain of 24 fitness studios in Atlanta and beyond.
HERstory of Arden's Garden
It started with the Norwalk...
Making juices and smoothies in her home kitchen was no easy task but Arden had her sights set on bigger things. She’d long had her eye on the grand-daddy of juicers - The Norwalk Juicer. Priced at $2200, it was far beyond her budget. So, Arden did the “All American thing,” and bought the Norwalk juicer on credit and in no time, she was in business bringing juices and smoothies to Atlanta.
First Location
In 1995, with a dash of excitement and dreams bigger than her delivery van, Arden opened her first independent location, eager to grow her delivery biz and possibly partner with local grocery stores! Transforming a vacant Little's Caesars pizza into a makeshift manufacturing facility Arden continued to make a healthy difference in people's lives.
First major retailer
With a mix of bold determination and grassroots charm, we managed to win over the store manager, landing our first big-league retail partner!
Our first manufacturing plant
After sharing a rented plant for the first 6 years we purchased our first manufacturing plant with the help of an SBA loan. Located in East Point, a food desert near Atlanta, what seemed like a challenge blossomed into an incredible opportunity, as the community embraced and supported us.
...and then there were 14
Over 19 years, we proudly opened seven stores, but in our 20th year, we doubled down, opening seven more—it was a period of explosive growth, passionately spreading Arden’s message of Good Health For All.
Opening of 2nd production facility
In 2017, we made a bold leap, acquiring our second manufacturing facility—much larger than our first—to keep pace with rapid growth and welcome our exciting new line of plant-based foods.
The Juices Keep Flowing
We celebrated the opening of our 17th store and introduced our made-to-order wraps and bowls, expanding our footprint and enhancing our oasis of health, guiding more people towards a healthier way of living.
