Atlanta Pride Festival and Parade is a weekend filled with unforgettable performances, powerful marches, and over 100,000 people celebrating right in the heart of Midtown!
Atlanta Pride has been making history since 1971, standing up, speaking out, and celebrating LGBTQ+ life/community in Georgia for more than five decades. This year Atlanta Pride is celebrating their 55th anniversary. The 2025 theme? ‘Rooted in Resistance,’ honoring the courage of those who came before us and calls to continue the fight for equality, joy, and liberation.
Chris McCain, Executive Director of Atlanta Pride, says it best:
“Our community’s journey has always been ‘Rooted in Resistance.’ From Stonewall to the present day, we have continually stood firm in the face of adversity, demanding our rights and celebrating our identities. This theme is a call to remember our past, acknowledge our ongoing struggles, and empower every individual to contribute to a future where all LGBTQ+ people can thrive, free from fear and prejudice. We invite everyone to join us in embodying this spirit at this year’s Festival.”
The 2025 Atlanta Pride Festival takes place October 11–12 in Piedmont Park, with performances by hip-hop star Flo Milli, and an incredible lineup of artists, community events, and marches that keep the spirit of Pride alive all weekend long.
Trans March: 1:45 PM
Bi & Pan March: 3:30 PM
Dyke March: 5:00 PM
*All marches begin at Piedmont Park’s Charles Allen Gate.*
Atlanta Pride Parade: 12:00 PM Starting from the Civic Center MARTA Station
Atlanta Pride is hosted by Georgia’s oldest LGBTQ+ non-profit, staffed by hundreds of volunteers. To learn more about Atlanta pride or to donate, check out Atlanta Pride.
Pride weekend in Atlanta is a marathon, not a sprint. Between dancing, cheering, and celebrating, you’ll definitely need a recharge.
Midtown will be packed with food trucks and festival vendors, but if you’re craving something fresh, energizing, and close to the action, we’ve got the perfect pit stop.
Our Piedmont store is directly across from Piedmont Park, right off the Beltline.
We’re just steps away from all the festivities, and we’re proud allies, rooted in resistance with you. We encourage all parade goers to swing by to refuel. On Saturday October 11th and Sunday, October 12th, we’ll be serving up:
1. Fresh juices and smoothies to keep you cool.
2. Show your pride and get a free health shot with ANY purchase! (Saturday only)
3. Plant-based snacks and goodies to power you through the weekend
4. This weekend only, we’re serving up a limited-edition Pride Smoothie – The Pride Punch! With mangoes, peaches, and a swirl of red cranberry juice, this refreshing blend will brighten your day and keep you cool while you celebrate love and community!
5. Free pride flags (while supplies last!)
Come sip, celebrate, and keep the party going because Pride tastes better together!
