From Boulevard to Better Health: Arden’s Garden Blooms in Benteen Park

Atlanta, GA.  June 2, 2025 - Atlanta’s hometown source for healthy smoothies, juices, and vegan food, Arden’s Garden, is opening its 19th store in the heart of the Benteen Park neighborhood—right off Boulevard and just a hop, skip, and a jump from the Southside Beltline Trail. Nestled beside Red’s Beer Garden and steps from Chosewood Park and Boulevard Crossing Park, the Benteen Park location continues Arden’s Garden’s mission: to make good health accessible to all. 

This grand opening also marks a significant milestone—30 years of serving the Atlanta community with affordable, plant-powered nutrition. The celebration will include an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m., led by Arden’s Garden’s CEO Leslie Zinn, who has championed the company’s passion of making plant-based wellness accessible to all.

The grand opening of the Benteen Park store will take place on Monday, June 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring family-friendly activities, giveaways, product samples, and more.

Technical support from Invest Atlanta helped bring Arden’s Garden’s 19th store to life as part of its mission to support food accessibility and local economic growth. "The USDA estimates that 47 percent of Atlanta residents live in areas often referred to as food deserts, where access to fresh food is limited," said Dr. Eloisa Klementich, president and CEO of Invest Atlanta. "When local stores like Arden’s Garden invest in neighborhoods, they not only increase access to fresh food but also create jobs and can help reduce the risk of chronic diseases through better nutrition. This is exactly the kind of positive impact we envisioned when launching our Grocery Technical Assistance program."
